Dr. Joel Werier
Dr. Joel Werier is an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery and Surgical Oncology at the University of Ottawa.Dr. Werier trained in medicine at the University of Manitoba and completed Orthopaedic Surgical residency training at the University of British Columbia in 1998. Subspecialty training in upper extremity and microvascular surgery was pursued at the University of Western Ontario and University of Louisville. Fellowship training in Orthopaedic Oncology was completed at the Musculoskeletal Oncology Unit at the University of Toronto.
Dr, Werier is chair of the sarcoma disease site group at the University of Ottawa and Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre. He is a member of the Investigational Health Research Team in Musculoskeletal Neoplasia.
