Robert Turcotte

Dr. Robert Emile Turcotte trained in medicine at the University of Montréal, graduating in 1982. He stayed in this beautiful and cosmopolitan city for his residency in orthopaedics with the Programme d'Orthopédie Edouard-Samson, finishing in 1987. He completed his qualification as a sub-specialist in Orthopaedic Oncology through training at the Hopital Cochin 01-06/1988, and at the Mayo Clinic 07/88 - 06/89.

He then returned to Montréal where he has practiced as a Surgical Oncologist since 1989. His academic affiliations are with the University of Montréal, and McGill as Assistant Professor.

He has been honored professionally as an ABC Traveling Fellow in 1995, and as a CFBS Traveling Fellow in 1997.

The COA Annual Basic Science Course is honored to have Dr. Turcotte share his expertise in orthopaedic oncology
