
Davyd Hooper
Dr. Hooper is an Assistant Professor and Residency Program Director for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Manitoba.
After completing his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Manitoba, he went on to complete a Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Fellowship at McMaster University. He has earned certification in Electrodiagnostic Medicine from the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists and the American Board or Electrodiagnostic Medicine.
He is the co-director of the Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Clinic at Riverview Health Centre in Winnipeg. This clinic is devoted to the comprehensive diagnosis and management of neuromuscular conditions including EMG and nerve conduction studies, muscle biopsies, nerve ultrasound, and non-surgical interventions.
His current research interests are in diagnostic nerve ultrasound and expanding indications and applications in electrodiagnostic medicine. He is also a reviewer for Muscle and Nerve.
